Hi. It would be great if outlook could add a calendar identifier that indicates remote work. Eg. Someone requests a meeting but is able to identify the invitee needs a dial in
If non-invitation email is received in Outlook with scheduling information, user would have the option to go to the File tab and save it as an Outlook Calendar event with email subject line, narrative, any attachments, and room at the top to edit further by the user. User would modify day and time and other data fields as necessary. Current Alternatives: Include creating Outlook Calendar Event with email attached or ...more »
I would like Exchange (Especially OUTLOOK) to support time zone display, especially work time zone. This information would need to be available to other application like Skype For Business so that when a person's name is highlighted or displayed their Time Zone would also display. Like " Firstname Familyname Pacific" or "Firstname Familyname Z+6". Because my work teams are in multiple time zones, this would help me ...more »
There should be an option to unsubscribe from group emails if you feel you're not necessary for the discussion.
It would alert the person who initiated the email chain of your request to unsubscribe and they can approve/disapprove the request.
If approved, all participants will have you removed from the email chain.
This would require saving the group details on the server I think to manage the subscribers.
I have two Exchange accounts registered in Outlook, one for Company A (e.g. my employer) and one for Company B (e.g. my client's firm - I'm a consultant). If I am trying to schedule a meeting with people from both organizations, I should be able to see everyone's free/busy data in the Scheduling Assistant view, not just the ones in the organization of the account that is sending the meeting invite.
In a shared mailbox (or a mailbox open by delegation), mails drafts are saved in the drafts folder of the personal mailbox and not in the drafts folder of the mailbox. Users never think about moving again to the folder in the mailbox.
There should be a tool on emails suggesting the folders to archive them based on matching words from new email and existing emails, i.e.: There is a topic under discussion on an email chain and you have already created a folder to store these emails. When you receive a new email about this topic, you can read the email still on your Inbox and there is an option on the email itself suggesting to store this email on that ...more »
Looking all day at a stark white or mildly white 29inch Outlook pane is troublesome. We're not all tablet users with finger smudged screens to reduce the brightness.
When viewing the properties of an email to look at message headers, the window cannot be resized.
The result is that the message headers wrap several lines and you have to copy and paste into notepad to make them usable.
Allowing the user to simply resize the width of that window would make reading of those headers easier.
Since Exchange 2010 the Dumpster is a Folder in each Users Mailbox and therefore is full text indexed. In OWA the user interface allows searching the dumpster while Outlook doesn't. Please add this functionality in Outlook. (In fact the UI for the Dumpster is the same since Outlook 98 :-( )
When someone leaves the company, they often have recurring meetings that remain on other calendars. We need a way to take ownership of a meeting - have the system check to see if the owner's account still exists (or isn't disabled and a resource account, for those companies like mine that don't delete mailboxes for a month after the colleqague leaves the company), and if the owner account doesn't exist (or is like the ...more »
It's 2013 and we still have a reliance on the LegacyExchangeDN within the Outlook client.
Update all supported clients to only cache the SMTP address in the autocomplete/nickname cache and when stored as properties on items.
