Conference rooms are frequently reserved for ongoing recurring meetings as calendar placeholders. Unfortunately, these conference rooms remain booked when the likelihood of having the meeting is low. Sending email alerts 1-2 days prior to a scheduled meeting requiring the host to confirm the room booking would free up abandoned meeting rooms for other people. This is a similar approach that doctors and dentists use to... more »
I often find myself constantly playing email 'catch-up' and responding to my large email backlog long after normal work hours. As many of my email contacts are extremely high level business executives and/or highly dedicated senior technical professionals, these after-hours email communications often become an unnecessary late night wake-up call. Other than the current Draft email solution (which implies that additional... more »
Hello there, there are people out there, particularly marketers, content writers, translators, or even technical consultants, that are working for multiple companies or corporations. All these people usually have several email accounts in different domains and often need to synchronize the calendars or tasks. I know this may look like a pure product presentation, but I would really like to share this app with you, which... more »
Hi. It would be great if outlook could add a calendar identifier that indicates remote work. Eg. Someone requests a meeting but is able to identify the invitee needs a dial in

If non-invitation email is received in Outlook with scheduling information, user would have the option to go to the File tab and save it as an Outlook Calendar event with email subject line, narrative, any attachments, and room at the top to edit further by the user. User would modify day and time and other data fields as necessary. Current Alternatives: Include creating Outlook Calendar Event with email attached or... more »
Configure the MAPI virtual directory from EAC. Its part of the preferred architecture. Why is it only configurable from PowerShell?
In 2016CU1 an ability to define amount of items returned in search for the user has been removed.
The following change, as outlined in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3093866 (target env. Exchange 2013)
worked for Exchange 2016 RTM.
Being able to manage mailbox folder permissions from the EAC.
A similar experience exists already on how we configure permissions on Modern Public Folders in the EAC.
In previous versions of Exchange using an MMC, opening the Receive Connector properties would give you a sorted list of the IP address(es) that were allowed to relay through a connector. Exchange 2013 haphazardly lists them in some random order. It's not even order the entries were created. Please sort the list. Another tag-along to that idea is to make that listbox typeable, so it'll bring you to the section of... more »
In modern days, many times, laptops are plugged into beamers, or webcastings etc, without having time to prepare to personalize the way the screen should look like. For eg, if I am in meeting and in battery mode, I should have option that I dont have the screen lock out in 1 min, which is normal setting, as I might take notes in one note time to time, It can have a blank screen, but not go into sleep mode or battery save... more »
I would like Exchange (Especially OUTLOOK) to support time zone display, especially work time zone. This information would need to be available to other application like Skype For Business so that when a person's name is highlighted or displayed their Time Zone would also display. Like " Firstname Familyname Pacific" or "Firstname Familyname Z+6". Because my work teams are in multiple time zones, this would help me... more »
We previously used GroupWise and could assign rights to one or more users to manage access to resource/shared accounts, relieving admins of the necessity to manage rights to shared accounts. I'd like Microsoft to do the same, allowing admins to delegate admin rights to user to manage shared accounts
Exchange 2013 logging fills the C drive too easily, yet we build Exchange Servers with lots of disks. Can we get an option in the installer to locate all logs or at least the big ones to a separate location?
A slight aside, but additional to that, potentially one start/ stop switch to enable verbose logging or return it to prior or default state?
Currently only modify write scope is supported. Adding possibility for change read scope limit from Orgaization-wide to OU would be very useful.
