The combination of Exchange 2010 and Forefront protection for Exchange 2010 is/was offering a decent multi engines antivirus and antispam solution. Forefront integrates on Exchange/Edge features like recipient filtering or safelist aggregation. Messages can be scanned at Edge, at internal transport level (and at mailbox level)… It offers a better protection than what is possible with Exchange 2013.
Not certain that this is feasible but I have a request to have any window that pops-up from EAC grey out the background window or activate a window within a window. I find many times several windows open behind the browser window because I forgot or got distracted.
Would be nice to have another tier capabliity in handling messages. Being able to pull data out of an Archive Mailbox to Enterprise Vault or other 3rd party same as a user mailbox would be ideal
Max Concurrent connections to a PFMBX is 2,000.
automated load balancing by current algorithm is v.poor implementation for global environments.
Implement functionality of a Public Folder Mailbox Allocation Policy to refine algorithm to ensure PFMBX > Policy > Users and that this strictly obeyed.
ps document the algorithm in depth.
Why not make actual "automatic" out of office replies based on user connectivity and automatically forward to any of the following:
> The distribution group the user belongs to (Small groups)
> User Selected member(s) of his/er distribution group (Larger Groups)
> User Selected member(s) (Non grouped users)
> Administrator Selected member(s) (Non grouped users)
There should be an option to unsubscribe from group emails if you feel you're not necessary for the discussion.
It would alert the person who initiated the email chain of your request to unsubscribe and they can approve/disapprove the request.
If approved, all participants will have you removed from the email chain.
This would require saving the group details on the server I think to manage the subscribers.
There should be an option on the server to have notifying of whether a recipient has read your email or not as mandatory without the ability to overwrite.
This would greatly improve inter-organization communication.
I would like Exchange (Especially OUTLOOK) to support time zone display, especially work time zone. This information would need to be available to other application like Skype For Business so that when a person's name is highlighted or displayed their Time Zone would also display. Like " Firstname Familyname Pacific" or "Firstname Familyname Z+6". Because my work teams are in multiple time zones, this would help me ...more »
In 2016CU1 an ability to define amount of items returned in search for the user has been removed.
The following change, as outlined in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3093866 (target env. Exchange 2013)
worked for Exchange 2016 RTM.
If non-invitation email is received in Outlook with scheduling information, user would have the option to go to the File tab and save it as an Outlook Calendar event with email subject line, narrative, any attachments, and room at the top to edit further by the user. User would modify day and time and other data fields as necessary. Current Alternatives: Include creating Outlook Calendar Event with email attached or ...more »

Hi. It would be great if outlook could add a calendar identifier that indicates remote work. Eg. Someone requests a meeting but is able to identify the invitee needs a dial in
