Exchange accounts synchronization in different domains

Hello there, there are people out there, particularly marketers, content writers, translators, or even technical consultants, that are working for multiple companies or corporations. All these people usually have several email accounts in different domains and often need to synchronize the calendars or tasks. I know this may look like a pure product presentation, but I would really like to share this app with you, which ...more »

Configure the MAPI virtual directory from EAC

Configure the MAPI virtual directory from EAC. Its part of the preferred architecture. Why is it only configurable from PowerShell?

Search Item limit in Exchange 2016 CU1

In 2016CU1 an ability to define amount of items returned in search for the user has been removed.

The following change, as outlined in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3093866 (target env. Exchange 2013)

worked for Exchange 2016 RTM.

Being able to manage mailbox folder permissions from the EAC.

A similar experience exists already on how we configure permissions on Modern Public Folders in the EAC.

Receive Connector Remote IP Range Sort

In previous versions of Exchange using an MMC, opening the Receive Connector properties would give you a sorted list of the IP address(es) that were allowed to relay through a connector. Exchange 2013 haphazardly lists them in some random order. It's not even order the entries were created. Please sort the list. Another tag-along to that idea is to make that listbox typeable, so it'll bring you to the section of ...more »

Allow owners of resource accounts to control access rights

We previously used GroupWise and could assign rights to one or more users to manage access to resource/shared accounts, relieving admins of the necessity to manage rights to shared accounts. I'd like Microsoft to do the same, allowing admins to delegate admin rights to user to manage shared accounts

Logs and Logging

Exchange 2013 logging fills the C drive too easily, yet we build Exchange Servers with lots of disks. Can we get an option in the installer to locate all logs or at least the big ones to a separate location?

A slight aside, but additional to that, potentially one start/ stop switch to enable verbose logging or return it to prior or default state?

Modify read scope for RBAC role assignment

Currently only modify write scope is supported. Adding possibility for change read scope limit from Orgaization-wide to OU would be very useful.

Mandatory read/unread emails notification option on server

There should be an option on the server to have notifying of whether a recipient has read your email or not as mandatory without the ability to overwrite.

This would greatly improve inter-organization communication.

Automatic Out Of Office

Why not make actual "automatic" out of office replies based on user connectivity and automatically forward to any of the following:

> The distribution group the user belongs to (Small groups)

> User Selected member(s) of his/er distribution group (Larger Groups)

> User Selected member(s) (Non grouped users)

> Administrator Selected member(s) (Non grouped users)

Auto reject mails from blocked/junked senders

Marking a mail as junk simply redirects it to the junk box. Helps reduce crap the user sees but doesn't actually change the landscape. Overtime, junk folder traffic may exceed inbox. My 10+ years old Hotmail and yahoo accounts are already there - daily incoming rate to junk folder is higher than my inbox. If Exchange could reject (not bounce) mails from explicitly junked senders as invalid email ID (511?), I suspect ...more »
